PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system that dynamically generates authentication information, to improve security.SOLUTION: A user terminal 10 transfers a document to be printed selected by a user 40, to a print server 20. The user selects the document to be printed from documents stored in the print server, in an image forming apparatus 30. The user inputs a "PIN code" generated from the current time and binary data corresponding to the document to be printed in the user terminal, to the image forming apparatus. The print server compares a "PIN code" input in the image forming apparatus and transferred, with the "PIN code" generated from the current time and binary data corresponding to the document to be printed, for authentication, and converts the document to be printed into print data to be transferred to the image forming apparatus when coincidence is determined.
