Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grille shutter device capable of preventing an opening/closing member from moving to a closing direction side from a half-opened position.SOLUTION: A grille shutter device 10 comprises: a movable fin 11 which is provided inside a grille opening of a vehicle body front part and can open and close to change the amount of air flowing into a vehicle body; an electric motor M connected to the movable fin 11 through a power transmission mechanism 17; and a control unit 21 for performing drive control of the electric motor M so as to drive and control the movable fin 11 to any of a fully closed position, a fully opened position, and a half-opened position therebetween.
