Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately identify a user position by using an electronic lock provided at an entrance of a room or a door including the electronic lock, as a reference.SOLUTION: An electronic lock according to a first embodiment is shown in Figs. 3A and 3B. The electronic lock 300 comprises: a case 301; a cylinder 302; a thumbturn 303 disposed on the case 301 at a position opposite to or a position substantially opposite to the cylinder 302; a first beacon 304 and second beacon 305 that are disposed inside the case 301; and an electromagnetic shielding member 306 disposed between the first beacon 304 and second beacon 305. From a radio wave from the first beacon 304, a first ID for identifying the first beacon 304 and radio wave intensity of the radio wave can be determined. The second beacon 305 is similar to the first beacon. The electronic lock is configured so that the first beacon 304's radio wave intensity is higher on the outdoor side, while the second beacon 305's radio wave intensity is higher on the indoor side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3A
