Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operational method of a waste gasification melting furnace capable of sufficiently suppressing increase of coke to be introduced into the furnace in a case of operation that an open hole for discharging molten material is steady opened, capable of maintaining a state where a coke bed having sufficiently uniform thickness is formed on a furnace bottom, and capable of sufficiently preventing the open hole from being closed due to temperature drop of the molten material at the open hole and around its surroundings.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an operational method of a waste gasification melting furnace including: a melting furnace part positioned on a furnace bottom side; a plurality of tuyeres configured to supply oxygen into the melting furnace part; an open hole formed on the melting furnace part; a pressure holding chamber having an internal space communicating with the open hole. The operational method is characterized in that an amount So oxygen supplied from a tuyere closest to the open hole into the melting furnace part per unit time is made smaller than an amount Sof oxygen supplied from a tuyere farther from the open hole compared to the above tuyere into the melting furnace part per unit time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
