PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater exhibiting a high heat insulation performance and ensuring low cost, and a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: A hot water storage tank unit of the present disclosure comprises: a hot water storage tank 2 storing heated hot water; an outer case 3 accommodating therein the hot water storage tank 2; and a foam insulation material 6 formed by being injected and foamed between the hot water storage tank 2 and the outer case 3, and is configured such that pipe projection parts 11t and 12t are disposed on a front plate 3a of the outer case 3, and the foam insulation material 6 is injected between the outer case 3a and the hot water storage tank 2 from inlets 3c1 and 3c2 in a rear plate 3c of the outer case 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】高い断熱性能を備えるとともに、低コストの給湯機およびその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の貯湯タンクユニットは、加熱された温水が貯留される貯湯タンク２と、貯湯タンク２を内部に収容する外箱３と、貯湯タンク２と外箱３との間に注入され発泡して形成される発泡断熱材６とを備え、外箱３の前板３ａには配管突出し部１１ｔ、１２ｔが配置され、外箱３の後板３ｃの注入口３ｃ１、３ｃ２から発泡断熱材６が、外箱３ａと貯湯タンク２との間に注入されて構成されている。【選択図】図５
