Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light reception suppression device for a laser beam suppressing light reception of the laser beams to an optical sensor even when the laser beam is incident.SOLUTION: A light reception suppression device for a laser beam comprises: a lens 1; an optical sensor 3 receiving light condensed by the lens 1; a polarizing plate 2 provided between the lens 1 and the optical sensor 3; polarization direction change means 5 relatively changing a polarization direction of light transmitted through the polarizing plate 2 and a polarization direction of the light condensed: laser beam detection means detecting that light input to the optical sensor 3 is a linearly polarized laser beam on the basis of an angle of the polarization direction of the polarizing plate 2 and output of the optical sensor 3; and control means controlling the polarization direction change means 5 and suppressing light reception of the laser beams of linear polarization to the optical sensor 3 when the laser beam detection means detects the linearly polarized laser beam.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】レーザ光が入射した場合においても、光学センサへのレーザ光の受光を抑制するレーザ光の受光抑制装置を提供する。【解決手段】レンズ1と、レンズ1により集光された光を受光する光学センサ3と、レンズ1と光学センサ3との間に設けられた偏光板2と、偏光板2を透過する光の偏光方向と集光された光の偏光方向とを相対的に変化させる偏光方向変化手段5と、偏光板2の偏光方向の角度と光学センサ3の出力とに基づいて、光学センサ3に入光する光が直線偏光するレーザ光であることを検出するレーザ光検出手段と、レーザ光検出手段が直線偏光するレーザ光を検出したとき、偏光方向変化手段5を制御して光学センサ3への直線偏光のレーザ光の受光を抑制する制御手段と、を具備している。【選択図】図1
