【課題】 本発明は、光電変換部から電荷保持部への電荷の転送後に、光電変換部に生じた電荷の電荷保持部への電荷の漏れだしを抑制した撮像装置を提供する。【解決手段】 本発明の撮像装置は、光電変換部における信号電荷の保持の開始から光電変換部に保持している信号電荷の電荷保持部への転送を開始するまでの第1期間における、第1ゲートの下部の半導体領域の信号電荷に対する第1ポテンシャルの高さよりも、電荷保持部に保持している信号電荷のフローティングディフュージョンへの転送の開始から終了までの第2期間における前記第1ポテンシャルの高さの方が高いことを特徴とする。【選択図】 図6 |
