Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent or mitigate deterioration in throughput per user in a communication device shared by a plurality of users.SOLUTION: A communication device comprises: a radio transmission unit 111 capable of transmitting signals for a plurality of users; a time setting unit (transmission packet generation unit 192 and transmission timing adjustment unit 193) for setting the maximum continuous transmission time, the maximum time permitted to continue transmission according to the number of users as a time related to transmission by the radio transmission unit 111; and an interference monitoring unit 194. The time setting unit sets, according to the number of users, a back-off time, a wait time from when the interference monitoring unit finds that a frequency band used by the radio transmission unit is not used by another communication device to when the radio transmission unit starts transmitting a signal, as a time related to transmission by the radio transmission unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】複数のユーザが共有する通信装置における1ユーザあたりのスループットの低下を防止または低減させる。【解決手段】通信装置が、複数のユーザの信号を送信可能な無線送信部111と、送信部111の送信に関する時間として送信を継続することが許容される最大時間である最大連続送信時間をユーザの数に応じて設定する時間設定部(送信パケット生成部192及び送信タイミング調整部193)と、干渉監視部194を備える。時間設定部は、無線送信部の送信に関する時間として、無線送信部が用いる周波数帯を他の通信装置が使用していないことを干渉監視部が検出してから無線送信部が信号の送信を開始するまでの待ち時間であるバックオフ時間をユーザの数に応じて設定する。【選択図】図2
