PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block for cutting work, which has no crack, has excellent cutting performance during cutting work, and has excellent impact resistance, abrasion resistance and aesthetic properties, when used in an oral cavity.SOLUTION: A block for cutting work contains: a (meth)acrylic acid ester-based polymer (a); a polymerizable monomer (b) containing a monofunctional (meth)acrylic acid ester-based polymerizable monomer (b-1) and a polyfunctional (meth)acrylic acid ester-based polymerizable monomer (b-2); and a polymerization initiator (c), where the content of the (meth)acrylic acid ester-based polymer (a) is 1 to 50 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the polymerizable monomer (b), and the (meth)acrylic acid ester-based polymer (a) is obtained by curing a composition dissolved in the polymerizable monomer (b).SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】クラックがなく、切削時の切削性に優れつつも、口腔内で使用した時の耐衝撃性、耐摩耗性及び審美性に優れる切削加工用のブロックを提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、（メタ）アクリル酸エステル系重合体（ａ）と、単官能性（メタ）アクリル酸エステル系重合性単量体（ｂ−１）及び多官能性（メタ）アクリル酸エステル系重合性単量体（ｂ−２）を含む重合性単量体（ｂ）と、重合開始剤（ｃ）を含有し、該（メタ）アクリル酸エステル系重合体（ａ）の含有量が該重合性単量体（ｂ）１００重量部に対して１〜５０重量部であり、かつ、該（メタ）アクリル酸エステル系重合体（ａ）が該重合性単量体（ｂ）に溶解している組成物を硬化して得られる、切削加工用ブロックである。【選択図】なし
