Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a junction separation method for a wound core for separating junctions of core components in order to fit a winding wire to the wound core that is connected by a welding part in the state where both ends of a band-shaped outermost peripheral steel plate are overlapped, while winding the band-shaped outermost peripheral steel plate around an outermost periphery of a laminate having a structure where a plurality of core components in a band plate shape are laminated by wrap-bonding or but-bonding both ends while being wound so as to form one turn.SOLUTION: In portions that are overlapped with each other of an outermost peripheral steel plate 1b of a wound core 1, a portion 1bo that is disposed outside is cut at a position in front of a welded part W of the outermost peripheral steel plate, and junctions of core components are then separated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
