Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volute pump that can smoothly guide fibrous materials included in liquid to a groove formed in an inner surface of an impeller casing, reliably push the fibrous materials into the groove, and discharge them from a discharge port.SOLUTION: An volute pump according to the present invention comprises: an impeller 1 that rotates integrally with a rotating shaft 11; and an impeller casing 5 that comprises a suction port 3 and a volute chamber 7. A groove 18 that extends from the suction port 3 to the volute chamber 7 is formed in an inner surface of the impeller casing 5. The impeller 1 comprises: a hub 13 to which the rotating shaft 11 is fixed; and sweptback blades 2 that spirally extend from the hub 13. The sweptback blades 2 each comprises: a leading edge part 2a that spirally extends from the hub 13; and a trailing edge part 2b that spirally extends from the leading edge part 2a. The leading edge part 2a comprises a front curved surface 2e formed from an inner end 2c of the leading edge part 2a to an outer end 2d.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】液体に含まれる繊維状物質を羽根車ケーシングの内面に形成された溝に円滑に導き、かつ繊維状物質を溝に確実に押し込み、吐出口から吐出させることができる渦巻ポンプを提供する。【解決手段】本発明の渦巻ポンプは、回転軸11と一体に回転する羽根車1と、吸込口3とボリュート室7を有する羽根車ケーシング5と、を備える。羽根車ケーシング5の内面には、吸込口3からボリュート室7まで延びる溝18が形成される。羽根車1は、回転軸11が固定されるハブ13と、ハブ13から螺旋状に延びる後退翼2とを有する。後退翼2は、ハブ13から螺旋状に延びる前縁部2aと、前縁部2aから螺旋状に延びる後縁部2bとを有し、前縁部2aは、前縁部2aの内端2cから外端2dにわたって形成される前側曲面2eを有する。【選択図】図6
