Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device capable of coating in a uniform film thickness in the width direction and the carrying direction of a base material, and also securing productivity, even in the base material having deformation such as having wrinkles and undulation, without requiring complication in a tension adjustment of the base material, in gravure and small diameter gravure coating.SOLUTION: A gravure device comprises a storage part for storing a coating liquid, a circulation part for circulating the coating liquid in the storage part and an ink pan via a supply part in the coating liquid, a coating part having a gravure plate, a doctor and the ink pan for coating the coating liquid on the base material and a drying part for drying a coating film formed on the base material, and a coating device comprises a rotary roll in the coating liquid in the ink pan after a transfer process, by installing a first doctor in the coating part, for scraping away an excess coating liquid scraped up by the gravure plate before a process of transferring the coating liquid to the base material from the gravure plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】グラビア及び小径グラビア塗布において、基材のテンション調整に煩雑さを要せず、シワやうねりをもつような変形を有する基材においても、基材の幅方向及び搬送方向において均一な膜厚で塗布することができ、かつ生産性を確保した塗布装置を提供する。【解決手段】塗布液を貯蔵する貯蔵部と、塗布液を供給部を介して前記貯蔵部とインキパン内の塗布液を循環させる循環部と、塗布液を基材に塗布するためのグラビア版とドクターと前記インキパンを備える塗布部と、前記基材上に形成された塗布膜を乾燥させる乾燥部と、を有するグラビア装置において、前記塗布部には、前記グラビア版から前記基材に塗布液が転写する工程の前に、前記グラビア版によって掻き揚げられた余分な塗布液を掻き落とす第1ドクターが設置され、前記転写工程後であって前記インキパン内の塗布液中に回転ロールを備えていることを特徴とする塗布装置である。【選択図】 図2
