Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an efficiency of the prior art vertical shaft type wind turbine more and modify its starting characteristic more under a fine wind state.SOLUTION: There is provided a right side flow guide 4 arranged at a right side in respect to an air flow central line of a rotating rotor 2 while being adjacent to a rotating orbit of a blade. The right side flow guide is formed as a column shape in parallel with a wind turbine rotating shaft 2a, its sectional circumferential line shape is formed with its inner side 4a opposing against the air stream center line being formed into an arcuate shape and its opposite outer side 4b being formed into an inverse S-shape smoothly connected to an arcuate inside circumferential line at a downstream side and being connected in an acute angle with an inside arcuate circumferential line at an upstream side. An air intake guide plate 5 is cooperatively arranged at the upstream side of the inside arcuate side surface of the right side flow guide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】従来の垂直軸型風車の効率をさらに向上させ、かつ微風状態に於ける起動性をさらに改善する。【解決手段】回転ロータ2の気流中心線に対する右側にブレードの回転軌道に近接して配設された右側フローガイド4を備え、この右側フローガイドを、風車回転軸2aに対し平行な柱状に形成し、その断面の周線形状を、気流中心線に対向する側である内側4aが、弧状に形成し、その逆側である外側4bが、風下側に於いて内側の弧状の周線と滑らかに接続し、且つ風上側に於いて内側の弧状の周線と鋭角を為して接続する逆S字状に形成する。右側フローガイドの内側の弧状側面の風上側に突出して、導風板5を連設する。【選択図】図1
