Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of a positional deviation in an oscillation type driving apparatus due to an external force between an oscillator and a driver at the time of stopping driving.SOLUTION: An oscillation type driving apparatus 1 comprises a rotor unit 3 and a stator unit 2, and rotates the rotor unit 3 by oscillating oscillator units 5a and 5b included by the stator unit 2. The stator unit 2 includes: a holding base 18 in which deviation and a rotation deviation in a direction crossing to a thrust direction are regulated; and a holding member 16 that holds the oscillator units 5a and 5b, of which the rotation deviation to the holding base 18 is regulated, and the deviation is permitted in an X direction crossing to the thrust direction. A concave and convex part 23e is arranged in the rotor unit 3, and a projection part 16e is arranged in the holding member 16. The rotor unit 3 is set to a rotation regulation state by deviating the holding member 16 in the X direction with a driving force of the oscillator units 5a and 5b and engaging the concave and convex part 23e and the projection part 16e.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】振動型駆動装置において、駆動停止時に振動体と被駆動体との間に外力によって位置ずれが発生することを抑制する。【解決手段】ロータユニット3とステータユニット2を備え、ステータユニット2が有する振動体ユニット5a,5bを振動させてロータユニット3を回転させる振動型駆動装置1において、ステータユニット2は、スラスト方向と直交する方向での変位と回転変位とが規制された保持基台18と、振動体ユニット5a,5bを保持し、保持基台18に対する回転変位が規制されると共にスラスト方向と直交するX方向で変位が許容された保持部材16とを有する。ロータユニット3に凹凸部23eを設け、保持部材16に突起部16eを設ける。振動体ユニット5a,5bの駆動力により保持部材16をX方向に変位させて凹凸部23eと突起部16eとを係合させてロータユニット3を回転規制状態とする。【選択図】図2
