Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating furnace having a furnace wall structure excellent in heat insulation property and thermal storage property.SOLUTION: A heating furnace has a furnace wall structure in which a first heat insulation layer 2 made of a heat insulation material having a fine porous structure, a heat-insulation refractory layer 3, a refractory layer 4, a second heat insulation layer 5 made of a heat insulation material having a fine porous structure, and a refractory layer 6 made of fireproof fibers are sequentially formed on the inside of a shell 1. In addition, preferably, the fireproof fiber of the refractory layer 6 has a folding structure obtained by repeatedly bending a long blanket in the thickness direction of the furnace wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
