PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge that consists of two units rotatably connected with each other by a shaft member that can be pressed in with an appropriate force and can be securely fixed.SOLUTION: A first unit and a second unit are rotatably connected with each other by a shaft member that is inserted into a first hole provided in the first unit and a second hole provided in the second unit; the shaft member rotatably fits to the first hole; the second hole has a resistance part formed thereon that is in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the shaft member at the insertion of the shaft member to be resistance against the insertion; the first unit is rotatably supported around the shaft member; the second unit is fixed to and supported by the shaft member by a welding part that is formed by a portion of the outer peripheral part of the shaft member and the resistance part melted when the shaft member is inserted into the second hole against the resistance, and thereby the second hole and the shaft member are welded to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】適度な力で圧入できかつ確実な固定が可能な軸部材によって互いに回動可能に連結された２つのユニットからなるプロセスカートリッジを提供する。【解決手段】第１ユニットと第２ユニットは、第１ユニットに設けられた第１孔及び第２ユニットに設けられた第２孔に挿入される軸部材によって互いに回動可能に連結されており、第１孔には、軸部材が回動可能に嵌合し、第２孔には、軸部材の挿入時に軸部材の外周面に接触して挿入に対し抵抗となる抵抗部が形成され、第１ユニットは、軸部材の周りに回動可能に支持され、第２ユニットは、抵抗に抗して軸部材が第２孔に挿入されるときに軸部材の外周面側の部分及び抵抗部が溶融して第２孔と軸部材とが溶着することで形成される、溶着部により軸部材に固定されて、支持されることを特徴とするプロセスカートリッジ。【選択図】図１
