Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that displays a captured image imaged by a vehicle, in a proper service area, parking area, or traffic display equipment, and unites traffic information or meteorological information with the captured image, so that a road user can recognize road condition.SOLUTION: A road information provision system includes an imaging apparatus 1, management equipment 3, display equipment 4 and 6, meteorological information acquisition equipment 9, and traffic information acquisition equipment 10. The imaging apparatus 1 includes an imaging unit 16, a position information acquisition unit 18, and a communication unit 15 that associates image data with position information and transmits the image data to the management equipment. On the basis of position information sent from the imaging apparatus 1, the management equipment 3 selects one or more display equipment 4 and 6 of a transmission destination to which image data corresponding to the position information is transmitted, from among the plurality of display equipment 4 and 6, and transmits the image data to the selected display equipment 4 and 6.
