Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a toner for electrostatic charge image development, by which a toner suppressing drop and exposure of a releasing agent and exerting excellent followability in a solid image in printing can be obtained.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a toner for electrostatic charge image development includes: a step (1) for mixing a releasing agent and an aqueous dispersion of resin particles (A) to obtain an aqueous dispersion of releasing agent particles; a step (2) for mixing and aggregating the obtained aqueous dispersion of releasing agent particles and an aqueous dispersion of resin particles (B) to obtain aggregated particles; and a step (3) for fusing the obtained aggregated particles to obtain fused particles. The resin particles (A) contain a composite resin having a segment (a1) that comprises a polyester resin and a vinyl resin segment (a2) that contains constituent units derived from a styrene-based compound.
