PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device for a light emitting body which suppresses mounting height becoming high, or to provide a luminaire which suppresses mounting height becoming high, or to provide the luminaire which suppresses the mounting height becoming high and in which a fixture for supporting the light emitting body is hardly visible, or to provide the luminaire which suppresses the mounting height becoming high, and which can support the light emitting bodies by aligning them with no gap in-between.SOLUTION: A planar light emitting body is configured in which thickness is suppressed by using an organic electroluminescent element. Furthermore, a terminal is provided at an opposing end part of the planar light emitting body, a contact point provided at a fixture is connected to the terminal, and the end part of the light emitting body is held by the fixture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】取り付け高さが高くなることが抑制された発光体の固定装置を提供する。又は、取り付け高さが高くなることが抑制された照明装置を提供する。又は、取り付け高さが高くなることが抑制され、発光体を支持する固定具が見えにくい照明装置を提供する。又は、取り付け高さが高くなることが抑制され、隙間なく発光体を並べて支持できる照明装置を提供する。【解決手段】有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子を用いて厚さが抑制された面状の発光体を構成し、さらに該面状の発光体の対向する端部に端子を設け、固定具に設けた接点と該端子を接して、該発光体の端部を該固定具で挟持する構成とする。【選択図】図１
