Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lance pipe which can suppress gas leak from a portion other than a tip part and which can prevent breakage by enhancing oxidation resistance.SOLUTION: A lance pipe 10 comprises a bottomed-cylindrical gas bubbling part 11 and a cylindrical non-bubbling part 12 formed integrally. Porosity of the gas bubbling part is formed to be higher than porosity of the non-bubbling part at least by 5%. Thereby, ventilation resistance of the gas bubbling part can be made relatively smaller than that of the non-bubbling part. Therefore, when the lance pipe is immersed in molten metal, gas leak from a portion other than the gas bubbling part releasing fine air bubbles in molten metal can be suppressed.
