Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric with conflicting two properties of flexibility and rigidity.SOLUTION: A nonwoven fabric in double layer structure comprises a continuous fiber nonwoven fabric on one side and a short fiber web on the other side. A continuous fiber constituting the continuous fiber nonwoven fabric has a cross-sectional shape in which four substantial Y-shape on upper, lower, right and left sides are connected at their lower ends and has single fiber fineness of 10 decitex or more. The continuous fiber nonwoven fabric has many holes made by punching. The short fiber web is subject to an interlacing treatment, which interlaces constituting fibers in the short fiber web with each other to unify the constituting fibers, and interlaces the short fibers with continuous fibers constituting the continuous fiber nonwoven fabric to unify the short fiber web and the continuous fiber nonwoven fabric. The short fibers interlacing with the continuous fibers exist on a surface side of the continuous fiber nonwoven fabric.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
