PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomarker which is varied according to progress of a disease state of an irritable bowel syndrome.SOLUTION: A biomarker for diagnosis of an irritable bowel syndrome is configured so that a m/z value which is obtained by measuring a human urine which is diluted with 0.1% (w/w) formic acid aqueous solution to which 0.09% (w/w) sodium azide is added, with LC/MS, is 121.1, 130.0, 130.1, 133.1, 149.0, 152.0, 156.1, 159.2, 162.1, 166.0, 168.1, 169.3, 170.1, 175.1, 180.8, 181.0, 181.2, 182.1, 182.3, 189.2, 192.0, 196.2, 197.0, 198.1, 205.1, 205.2, 210.1, 212.1, 216.1, or the like, (the m/z value includes an error range of ±0.1), and a content in a human urine is varied by affection of the irritable bowel syndrome.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】過敏性腸症候群の病態進行に伴って変動するバイオマーカーを提供する。【解決手段】０．０９％（ｗ／ｗ）アジ化ナトリウムを添加した０．１％（ｗ／ｗ）ギ酸水溶液で希釈したヒト尿を、ＬＣ／ＭＳで測定した際に得られるｍ／ｚ値が、121.1、130.0、130.1、133.1、149.0、152.0、156.1、159.2、162.1、166.0、168.1、169.3、170.1、175.1、180.8、181.0、181.2、182.1、182.3、189.2、192.0、196.2、197.0、198.1、205.1、205.2、210.1、212.1、216.1、などであり（ただし、前記ｍ／ｚ値は、±０．１の誤差範囲を含有する）、過敏性腸症候群の罹患によりヒト尿中の含有量が変動する化合物である、過敏性腸症候群診断用のバイオマーカー。【選択図】なし
