Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress ink stain from sticking to a page on which an image was formed last while transportation of a continuous paper is being stopped, relating to an image formation device for forming an image on a continuous paper.SOLUTION: When a tractor stops transportation of a continuous paper S, performs over feeding operation which is the operation for transporting the continuous paper S so that a page Sa on which an image was formed last goes beyond a lower stream side in paper transportation direction than an ink dropping position Xa which is a position where an ink discharged from an ink jet head 140 sticks.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】連続用紙に画像を形成する画像形成装置において、連続用紙の搬送を停止させている間に、最後に画像が形成された頁にインク汚れが付着することを抑制することを目的とする。【解決手段】トラクタが、連続用紙Sの搬送を停止するときに、最後に画像が形成されたページSaがインクジェットヘッド140が吐出するインクが付着する位置であるインク滴下位置Xaよりも用紙搬送方向下流側へ到達するように連続用紙Sを搬送する動作である過送り動作を行なう。【選択図】図4
