Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flexibly utilize shared reserve resources by using not only communication devices in a communication system but also various functional parts as the shared reserve resources.SOLUTION: In a communication system which includes a communication network including a communication group and a control part for monitoring and controlling the communication devices in the communication network, the communication network includes the shared reserve resources to be used as a temporary switching destination of active resources for the unit of a communication device or for the unit of a functional part within the communication device. In the case where a communication device in the communication network or active resources as a functional part in the communication device are not available any more, the control device determines switching destination shared reserve resources as a switching destination of the unavailable active resources and sets a configuration definition corresponding to a configuration definition in the unavailable active resources to the switching destination shared reserve resources such that, on the basis of control by the control device, a signal path between the unavailable active resources and other active resources is switched to a signal path between the switching destination shared reserve resources and the other active resources.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
