Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating waste collection tool exhibiting excellent safety when it is attached stably to a stripper, while allowing visual confirmation of the progress situation of stripping, and reliable collection of the coating waste.SOLUTION: A coating waste collection tool 1 attached to a stripper 50, that is attached to an indirect hot-line operating rod 61, and collecting the coating waste discharged from the discharge port 53 of the stripper 50 includes a cylindrical trunk 2 having a space for housing the coating waste, and attached to the periphery of the discharge port 53, an introduction part 3 opening to one end 2a of the trunk 2, and introducing a covered conductor 60 to an insertion port 51, a fitting part 4 provided at the other end 2b of the trunk 2 and fitted to the stripper 50.
