Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase precision of abnormality determination of an attenuation force adjusting type damper.SOLUTION: A damper 8 includes: a cylinder 9; a piston 10; a piston rod 11; and an actuator 13. The actuator 13 includes a control valve 13A and a proportional solenoid 13B. A control device 15 supplies solenoid current I to the proportional solenoid 13B and controls the control valve 13A according to the solenoid current I. The control device 15 estimates a solenoid temperature T of each damper 8 from the solenoid current I and compares the solenoid temperatures T of the dampers 8 with each other. The control device 15 determines that one damper 8 is in an abnormal condition when the solenoid temperature T of the one damper 8 is out of a predetermined temperature range with respect to the solenoid temperature T of at least two or more other dampers 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
