Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound speed correction device capable of preventing deterioration in accuracy of directivity forming by precisely calculating the sound speed by acquiring at least ambient temperature, humidity and air pressure when picking up sounds emitted from a sound source located in a specific direction viewed from a microphone array apparatus.SOLUTION: The sound speed correction device includes: an environmental parameter acquisition section that acquires a measured value of ambient environmental parameter of a sound pick-up unit for picking up sounds emitted from a sound source; and a sound speed correction section that corrects the sound speed of the sound which is used for forming the directivity orientation direction toward the sound source from the sound pick-up unit by using the measured value of ambient environmental parameter of the sound pick-up unit acquired by the environmental parameter acquisition section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
