Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform manufacturing management by determining quality of a product cast every casting cycle.SOLUTION: A casting apparatus is equipped with a gas vent valve unit of vacuum valve system. The gas vent valve unit includes a valve main body having a valve seat and a valve body for opening and closing the valve seat of the valve main body, and discharges a gas in a cavity of a metal mold by vacuum suction when the gas vent valve unit is connected to an upper part of a vent runner communicating with the cavity of the metal mold and the valve body and the valve are in the opened state. The casting apparatus is equipped with detection means for detecting a blocking timing at which the valve body blocks the valve seat, and determination means for determining quality of a product cast in the cavity of the metal mold on the basis of a detection signal from the detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】鋳造サイクル毎に鋳造された製品の良否を判定して生産管理を行う。【解決手段】鋳造装置は、弁座を有するバルブ本体と、バルブ本体の弁座を開閉する弁体とを有し、金型のキャビティに連通するベントランナの上方に接続されて弁体と弁座とが開状態であるときに金型のキャビティ内のガスを真空吸引により排出する真空バルブ方式のガス抜きバルブユニットを備え、弁体が弁座を閉塞した閉塞タイミングを検出する検出手段と、検出手段からの検出信号に基づいて、金型のキャビティ内で鋳造された製品の良否を判定する判定手段とを備える。【選択図】図1
