PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus which facilitates image processing so as to improve visibility, even on a display target different from a high-priority display target, in a conference system or the like.SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus, which receives an image from a first information processing apparatus comprises: communication means for communication with the first information processing apparatus; reception image processing means for performing image processing on the received image; display means for displaying the processed image; and selection means for selecting an at least partial area of the displayed image. When the selection means selects the at least partial area, the reception image processing means performs first image processing on the image of the selected area. 【課題】会議システム等において、優先度の高い表示対象とは異なる表示対象に対しても、視認性を高めるように画像処理を行うことを容易にする情報処理装置を提供する。【解決手段】情報処理装置は、第１情報処理装置から画像を受信する情報処理装置であって、前記第１情報処理装置と通信する通信手段と、前記受信した画像に画像処理を行う受信画像処理手段と、前記画像処理された画像を表示する表示手段と、前記表示する画像の少なくとも一部のエリアを選択する選択手段と、を有し、前記受信画像処理手段は、前記選択手段により前記少なくとも一部のエリアが選択された場合、前記選択されたエリアの画像に第１画像処理を行う。【選択図】図３
