Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method of a strand, which can reduce variation of each strand outer diameter from a plurality of through holes of a die.SOLUTION: A strand manufacturing apparatus comprises a die and a channel member. The die comprises a plurality of through holes that are aligned. The channel member defines a channel 18 for supplying a molten resin raw material to the plurality of through holes. The channel 18 includes: an outflow port 24 extending over the plurality of through holes in a first direction of which the plurality of through holes are aligned; an inflow port 23 having a smaller dimension in an X direction than the outflow port 24; a manifold part 25 extending from the inflow port 23 in the X direction; and a slit part 26 linked to the manifold part 25 in a Y direction crossing the X direction, and extending from the manifold part 25 to the outflow port 24. The dimension of the slit part 26 in the Y direction becomes shorter it separates from the inflow port 23 in the X direction.
