Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a composition in particle-based detection of a target molecule using a linking molecule.SOLUTION: A method of generating a complex comprising a nucleic acid target molecule is provided which comprises: mixing in a reaction mixture a substrate comprising a plurality of capture probes bound to the substrate, a sample suspected of containing a nucleic acid target molecule, and a linking molecule.
