Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that makes it difficult to visually recognize a specific configuration of a data recording area arranged around a free area in a predetermined first state in which the data recording area is irradiated with visible light.SOLUTION: An information code 100 formed on an information code medium P has, provided inside a code area, a specific pattern area where specific patterns having a predetermined shape are arranged, a data recording area where data is recorded by a plurality of types of cells, and a free area 110 where recording of data or display of design can be performed by a method different from the method of recording data in the data recording area. The data recording area arranged around the free area 110 becomes a predetermined visual recognition difficult state in which visual recognition to specify the plurality of types of cells is difficult in a predetermined first state in which the data recording area is irradiated with visible light, and becomes a predetermined specific possible state in which the plurality of types of cells can be specified in a predetermined second state in which the data recording area is irradiated with light at a predetermined wavelength band different from that of the visible light.
