Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation device that can prevent a user from making a mistake in assembling, such as closing an aperture for positioning a thermal cut-off with a seal member.SOLUTION: A fixation device includes: a thermistor 24; a thermal cut-off 25; and a housing storing a fixation member, the thermistor 24 and the thermal cut-off 25. The housing includes a first aperture 33 for positioning the thermistor 24 and a second aperture 34 for positioning the thermal cut-off 25 formed therein. The first aperture 33 is sealed with a seal member having an adhesive surface after positioning the thermistor 24, while the second aperture 34 is maintained in an open state also after positioning the thermal cut-off 25. Around the second aperture 34 are formed a plurality of projections 36 that reduce the area contacting with an adhesive surface of a seal member. 【課題】サーモスカットの位置調整用の開口部をシール部材で閉じるような組み立てミスを防止した定着装置を提供する。【解決手段】定着装置は、サーミスタ２４と、サーモカット２５と、定着部材とサーミスタ２４とサーモカット２５とが収容されるハウジングと、を備える。ハウジングには、サーミスタ２４の位置を調整するための第１の開口部３３とサーモカット２５の位置を調整するための第２の開口部３４が形成されている。第１の開口部３３は、サーミスタ２４の位置調整後には粘着面を有する封止部材で封止される一方、第２の開口部３４は、サーモカット２５の位置調整後も開口した状態に維持される。第２の開口部３４の周囲には、封止部材の粘着面との接触面積を低減させる複数の突起３６が形成されている。【選択図】図３
