Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that when recording an image of one raster using a plurality of nozzles, can appropriately correct density unevenness due to discharge variation for a nozzle unit, by a low processing load and with a simple structure, even when use rates of the nozzles are different.SOLUTION: Use rates of nozzles used for recording each image region in image data are calculated to generate a contribution rate table. The table is used to perform a head shading correction process S605 to perform recording after a binarization process S608 and a mask-pattern process S609 are performed. 【課題】1ラスタの画像を複数のノズルを用いて記録する場合に、各ノズルの使用比率が異なっていても適切に且つ低い処理負荷で簡易な構成により、ノズル単位の吐出ばらつきに起因する濃度ムラを補正することができる画像処理装置を提供する。【解決手段】画像データにおける各画像領域の記録に使用されるノズルの使用率を算出し寄与率テーブルを生成する。これを用いてヘッドシェーディング補正処理S605を行い、2値化処理S608、マスクパターン処理S609後記録する。【選択図】図6
