Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device that can reduce a wrong detection due to an unnecessary electromagnetic wave included in a transmission wave transmitted from a transmission antenna.SOLUTION: A radar device comprises: a transmission antenna 22 that has a plurality of antenna elements 22a, transmits an electromagnetic wave toward a direction of a detection object from the plurality of antenna elements 22a; a reception antenna 23 that receives a reflection wave in which the electromagnetic wave transmitted from the transmission antenna 22 is reflected upon an object; and a cover 11 that protect the transmission antenna 22 and the reception antenna 23. In a surface of the cover 11 intersecting an unnecessary electromagnetic wave to be transmitted in a direction different from the direction of the detection object from the transmission antenna 22, a convexity part is formed that causes the unnecessary electromagnetic wave to generate diffraction, and thereby a wrong detection due to the unnecessary electromagnetic wave can be reduced.
【課題】送信アンテナから送信される送信波に含まれる不要電磁波による誤検知を低減可能としたレーダ装置を提供する。【解決手段】複数のアンテナ素子22aを有し、前記複数のアンテナ素子22aから検知対象の方向へ向けて電磁波を送信する送信アンテナ22と、前記送信アンテナ22より送信された電磁波が物体に反射した反射波を受信する受信アンテナ23と、前記送信アンテナ22および受信アンテナ23を保護するカバー11と、を備えたレーダ装置において、前記送信アンテナ22より検知対象の方向と異なる方向へ送信される不要電磁波と交差する前記カバー11の面に、当該不要電磁波に回折を生じさせる凸部が形成されているので、不要電磁波による誤検知を低減することができる。【選択図】図3 |
