Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of noise by absorbing vibration which is applied to column parts of a control holder and a rotating holder at the changeover of a two-way clutch.SOLUTION: A holder of a two-way clutch 10 which is controlled in engagement and release of the engagement by an electromagnetic clutch, and performs the transmission and block of rotation between an input shaft and an output shaft is formed of a control holder 16A which is moved to an axial direction by the electromagnetic clutch, and a rotating holder 16B. Column parts 22, 26 which are formed at external peripheral parts of the control holder and the rotating holder are alternately aligned in a circumferential direction between an outer ring 11 and an inner ring 13, and a pair of rollers 15 and an elastic member 20 are assembled into a pocket 27 between the adjacent column parts. Forked pieces 22a, 22b, 26a, and 26b are arranged at the column part of the control holder and that of the rotating holder, respectively, by forming slits 35 which extend from a tip face toward the axial direction, vibration is thereby absorbed by the elastic deformation of one set of the pieces 22a, 26a which oppose the rollers when the column parts vibrate by a collision of the control holder with an opening end face of the outer ring 11, and the generation of noise is suppressed. 【課題】2方向クラッチの切り換え時、制御保持器および回転保持器の柱部に負荷される振動を吸収して騒音の発生を抑制する。【解決手段】電磁クラッチで係合と係合解除が制御され、入力軸と出力軸との間で回転の伝達と遮断とを行なう2方向クラッチ10の保持器を電磁クラッチにより軸方向に移動される制御保持器16Aと回転保持器16Bとで形成し、制御保持器と回転保持器の外周部に形成された柱部22、26が外輪11と内輪13間で周方向に交互に並べ、隣接する柱部間のポケット27内に一対のローラ15と弾性部材20とを組み込む。制御保持器と回転保持器の柱部それぞれに、先端面から軸方向に延びるスリット35を形成して二股片22a、22b、26a、26bを設け、外輪11の開口端面に対する制御保持器の衝突により柱部が振動した際に、ローラと対向する一方の片22a、26aの弾性変形により振動を吸収して騒音の発生を抑制する。【選択図】図3
