Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical measurement device for eyeballs and the like capable of facilitating arrangement of light-emitting means or light-reception means in an inner canthus side compared with a case where light is emitted or received with an eyeball facing the front, in a case of emitting light to traverse the anterior chamber of the eyeball and receiving light exited from the eyeball to traverse the anterior chamber.SOLUTION: An optical measurement apparatus 1 includes an optical system 20, which is used to measure the characteristics of the aqueous humor in the anterior chamber 13 of the eyeball 10 of a measurement subject, and a holding unit 50, which holds the optical system 20 and the like, and the optical system 20 is provided with a light-emitting system 20A and a light reception system 20B. A light path 28 is set in a manner such that when the eye 10 abducts, the light exiting the light-emitting system 20A passes through the anterior chamber 13 in a manner so as to traverse same, and can be received by the light reception system 20B.
