Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture simultaneously a plurality of display devices having a structure in which additional members are attached to light emission faces of display device main bodies without covering terminal portions of the display device main bodies.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for display devices performs: a step of preparing base structures for main bodies including a plurality of scheduled main body parts arrayed; a step of preparing base structures for additional members including a plurality of scheduled additional member parts 30P arrayed and holding parts 131; a step of overlapping and jointing the base structures for main bodies and the base structures for additional members to prepare jointed structures 200 including a plurality of scheduled display device parts 100P arrayed; and a step of cutting the jointed structures 200 so that the plurality of scheduled display device parts 100P are separated from each other to make a plurality of display devices. The holding parts 131 have notch parts 132 formed at positions corresponding to a plurality of terminal parts 90 of the plurality of scheduled main body parts in the base structures for main bodies. 【課題】付加部材が、表示装置本体の端子部を覆わずに表示装置本体の光出射面に貼り合わされた構造の複数の表示装置を同時に製造する。【解決手段】表示装置の製造方法は、配列された複数の本体予定部を含む本体用基礎構造物を作製する工程と、配列された複数の付加部材予定部30Pと保持部131とを含む付加部材用基礎構造物を作製する工程と、本体用基礎構造物と付加部材用基礎構造物を重ね合わせて接合して、配列された複数の表示装置予定部100Pを含む接合構造物200を作製する工程と、複数の表示装置予定部100Pが互いに分離されて複数の表示装置となるように、接合構造物200を切断する工程とを備えている。保持部131は、本体用基礎構造物における複数の本体予定部の複数の端子部90に対応する位置に形成された切り欠き部132を有している。【選択図】図14
