Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and inexpensively provide a different oil passage.SOLUTION: A drive device 1 is equipped with a power transmission mechanism; and a T/A case 10 which stores the power transmission mechanism in a space formed by a case 11, a housing 12, and an end cover 13. The T/A case 10 is formed with a first oil passage groove portion 51 and a second oil passage groove portion 52 on mating surfaces 14a and 15a opposite to each other on the case 11 and the housing 12, and a cover portion 16 made from heat insulating material and blocking the first oil passage groove portion 51 and the second oil passage groove portion 52 between the mating surfaces 14a and 15a. 【課題】異なる油路を簡易かつ安価に設けること。【解決手段】動力伝達機構と、ケース11とハウジング12とエンドカバー13とによって形成された空間に前記動力伝達機構を収容するT/Aケース10と、を備えた駆動装置1において、T/Aケース10は、ケース11とハウジング12における互いの対向する合わせ面14a,15aに各々第1油路用溝部51と第2油路用溝部52とを形成し、そのそれぞれの合わせ面14a,15aの間に当該第1油路用溝部51と当該第2油路用溝部52とを塞ぐ断熱材からなる蓋部16を介在させること。【選択図】図3
