Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for deposition which allows for highly accurate inspection (discharge inspection) of a droplet discharge head, even if the ink for deposition is not colored with high density or the wetting and spreading for a discharged object is high, and to provide a discharge inspection method and a discharge inspection device, and a method of manufacturing a light-emitting element using such an ink for deposition, a light-emitting element, a light-emitting device and an electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: An ink for deposition contains a material composing a hole transport layer or a hole injection layer included in an organic electroluminescent element or a deposition material that is a precursor thereof, and a liquid medium for dispersing or dissolving the deposition material. An index material, emitting light when irradiated with excitation light, is added to the deposition material.
