PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device which enables a switch gear to be easily removed without impairing an anti-theft function that disables an unauthorized lock releasing action from the exterior.SOLUTION: A steering lock device 10 includes: a lock body 11 having an opening part 11c where a first internal space 11a formed in an axial direction and a second internal space 11b formed in a direction intersecting with the axial direction communicate with each other; a key rotor 23 which is housed in the first internal space and may rotate around an axis; a lock stopper 32 which may move in the second internal space; a cam shaft 33 which converts rotary motion of the key rotor into linear motion of the lock stopper; a lock bar 31 where a base end part is held by the lock stopper and a tip part may engage with or disengage from a column shaft of a vehicle; and a switch holder 41 where one side is undetachably fixed to the opening part of the lock body and the other side detachably holds a switch device 43. 【課題】外部からの不正なロック解除行為を不能とする盗難防止機能を阻害することなく、スイッチ装置を容易に取り外すことができるステアリングロック装置を提供する。【解決手段】ステアリングロック装置１０は、軸線方向に形成された第１の内部空間１１ａ及び軸線方向に対して交差する方向に形成された第２の内部空間１１ｂが互いに連通する開口部１１ｃを有するロックボディ１1と、第１の内部空間内に収容され、軸線周りに回転可能なキーロータ２３と、第２の内部空間内に移動可能なロックストッパ３２と、キーロータの回転運動をロックストッパの直線運動に変換するカムシャフト３３と、基端部がロックストッパに保持されるとともに、先端部が車両のコラムシャフトに係脱可能なロックバー３１と、一側がロックボディの開口部に脱着不能に固定され、他側がスイッチ装置４３を着脱可能に保持するスイッチホルダ４１とを備えている。【選択図】図１
