Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotator of rotary electric machine and a rotary electric machine including the rotator capable of reducing concentration of stress generated around a positioning hole for positioning laminated magnetic steel sheets relative to a circumferential direction.SOLUTION: The rotator of rotary electric machine has a rotor core 4 which is formed by laminating plural magnetic steel sheets. The rotor core includes: plural magnet insertion holes 9 for inserting permanent magnets 8; plural wall-cutout holes 10 formed at the inner side of the magnet insertion holes in a diameter direction; and plural positioning holes 11 which are formed independently from the magnet insertion holes and the wall-cutout holes for positioning magnetic steel sheets laminated relative to a circumferential direction. Each of the positioning holes is formed so as to be included in a bridge part 12 formed between the wall-cutout holes.
