Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of processing core-shell nanoparticles which is capable of sufficiently reducing the amount of shells.SOLUTION: An embodiment of the invention is a method of processing core shell nanoparticles having a core containing metal oxide and a shell containing polyvinylpyrrolidone crosslinked polymer. The method includes the steps of: mixing the core shell nanoparticles, water, and acid; and heating a mixed liquid in which the core shell nanoparticles, water, and acid are mixed together. The acid is monocarboxylic acid with a carbon number 1 or 2, or hydroxycarboxylic acid.
