Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the over-revolution of an internal combustion engine accompanying a down-shift to a specified gear change stage upon a partial failure with a simple configuration, in a vehicle in which the specified gear change stage is formed when all fail occurs.SOLUTION: A control device is employed to a vehicle which comprises an automatic transmission having a sequence valve which is switched to a normal-time position and a failure-time position according to an SL1-pressure or a modulator pressure which is supplied by using a normal-closed type SL and an SLT pressure supplied from a normal-open type SLT. The sequence valve is configured so as to be switched to the failure-time position from the normal-time position upon all fail. When the sequence valve is switched to the failure-time position by the SLT pressure upon a partial failure at which an SL becomes non-conductive, and a gear change is down-shifted to a three-speed gear stage from a five-speed gear stage or a six-speed gear stage, the SLT pressure is limited so that the sequence valve is switched to the normal-time position. 【課題】オールフェールが発生した場合に特定変速段を形成する車両において、簡単な構成で、部分故障時の特定変速段へのダウンシフトに伴う内燃機関のオーバーレブを抑える。【解決手段】ノーマルクローズ型のSLを用いて供給されるSL1圧またはモジュレータ圧と、ノーマルオープン型のSLTから供給されるSLT圧とに応じて、正常時位置と故障時位置とに切り替わるシーケンスバルブを有する自動変速機を備えた車両に適用される制御装置である。シーケンスバルブは、オールフェール時には、正常時位置から故障時位置へ切り替わるように構成されている。SLが非通電となる部分故障時に、SLT圧によりシーケンスバルブが故障時位置に切り替わって、5または6速ギヤ段から3速ギヤ段へダウンシフトする場合には、シーケンスバルブが正常時位置に切り替わるように、SLT圧を制限する。【選択図】図6
