Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter in which a person can easily perform a plurality of operations alone.SOLUTION: A catheter includes: a cylindrical insertion part 2 that can be inserted into a body; an expandable/contractible balloon 8 disposed at a distal end part of the insertion part 2 and communicated with a lumen of the insertion part 2; a knife wire 9 disposed at a distal end part of the insertion part 2 that can perform a treatment for a biological tissue; and an operation part 10 disposed at a proximal end part of the insertion part 2 for operating the balloon 8 and the knife wire 9. The operation part 10 includes a mouthpiece part 12 to which a fluid discharge port of a pressurizer capable of supplying fluid for expanding the balloon 8 can be attached, and a fastener 16 capable of detachably fastening the operation part 10 to the pressurizer.
