Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the reliability of an electromagnetic switch 1 in insulation between a fixed contact 8 and a metal frame 20 without increasing the size of the electromagnetic switch 1 or man hours for assembly.SOLUTION: Coating 39A is applied to the entire surface 38A on the axial one end side of an axial one end part 20Ab. An insulation plate 31 is placed on the surface of the coating 39A from the axial one end side. Further, a fixed contact 8 is seated on the insulation plate 31 from the axial one end side. Thus, even if the insulation plate 31 is displaced, a required creepage distance can be ensured by the presence of the coating 39A. Accordingly reliability in insulation between the fixed contact 8 and a metal frame 20 can be increased. Additionally, since the reliability in insulation between the fixed contact 8 and metal frame 20 is increased without increasing an insulating space or adding an insulating member, the size of a magnetic switch 1 is not increased and man hours for assembly is not increased either. 【課題】電磁スイッチ1において、電磁スイッチ1の大型化や組付け工数の増加を伴うことなく、固定接点8と金属フレーム20との間の絶縁に対する信頼性を高める。【解決手段】軸方向一端部20Abの軸方向一端側の表面38Aの全面にコーティング39Aを施し、絶縁板31をコーティング39Aの表面に軸方向一端側から載せ、さらに、固定接点8を絶縁板31に軸方向一端側から着座させる。これにより、絶縁板31の位置がずれても、コーティング39Aの存在により必要な沿面距離を確保することができる。このため、固定接点8と金属フレーム20との間の絶縁に対する信頼性を高めることができる。また、絶縁隙間の拡大や絶縁部材の追加によらずに、固定接点8と金属フレーム20との間の絶縁に対する信頼性を高めているので、電磁スイッチ1が大型化せず、かつ、組付け工数も増加しない。【選択図】図2
