PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus, a point management system, and a program capable of preventing doubly returning points.SOLUTION: In an embodiment, transaction-number receiving means receives a transaction number issued at a time of product purchase, if a product is to be returned. Point management means refers to transaction-information storage means storing therein transaction information on each transaction and a point use history of the transaction while making the transaction information and the point use history correspond to the transaction number, returns points used during the transaction corresponding to the transaction number to the member as reusable points and records in the transaction storage means that a history of cancelling the use of points is present if cancellation of use of points is not recorded for the transaction number received by the transaction receiving means. Error output means outputs an error if the cancellation of use of points is already recorded for the transaction number received by the transaction-number receiving means. 【課題】ポイントを二重に差し戻さないようにすることができる情報処理装置、ポイント管理システムおよびプログラムを提供することである。【解決手段】実施形態において取引番号受付手段は、商品の返品に際して、商品購入時の取引番号を受付ける。ポイント管理手段は、取引番号に対応付けて一取引ごとの取引情報と当該取引におけるポイント利用履歴とを記憶する取引情報記憶手段を参照して、前記取引番号受付手段が受付けた前記取引番号に対してポイント利用を取り消した記録が無ければ、前記取引番号の取引において利用されたポイント数を再利用可能なポイントとして前記会員に差し戻し、前記取引情報記憶手段にポイント利用の取消履歴有りと記録する。エラー出力手段は、前記取引番号受付手段が受付けた前記取引番号に対して既にポイント利用を取り消した記録があればエラー出力する。【選択図】図７
