Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool the inside of an electronic apparatus case while taking the temperature in a housing into consideration when an electronic equipment such as an image pickup device is stored in the housing.SOLUTION: There is provided an electronic apparatus including a case, a cooling fan which cools a heat generation part in the case, driving means of driving the cooling fan, and first determining means of determining whether the case is stored in a housing. The electronic apparatus has temperature detecting means of detecting a first temperature at a first position of the electronic apparatus and a second temperature at a second position relatively closer to the heat generation part than the first position of the electronic apparatus, and switching means of switching the rotating speed of the cooling fan according to the temperature difference between the first temperature and second temperature when the first determining means determines that the case is stored in the housing, and the switching means makes the rotating speed of the cooling fan faster when temperature difference between the first temperature and second temperature is a second temperature difference larger than a first temperature difference than when temperature difference between the first temperature and second temperature is the first temperature difference.
