Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter unit which has a simple structure and removes magnetic foreign objects and non-magnetic foreign objects contained in a fluid circulating in a refrigeration cycle device.SOLUTION: A filter unit 2 removes foreign objects from a refrigerant or an oil which is a fluid circulating in a refrigeration cycle device and includes: a magnet 20 which captures magnetic foreign objects; and a holding member 21 which holds the magnet.
