Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound marker particle having a high coupling efficiency to a target substance.SOLUTION: A compound marker particle includes a connection substance and a binding substance in this order on a surface of the particle. The binding substance has a reactive site exhibiting a binding property to a target substance. The reactive site of the binding substance extends in a direction radiately parting from the particle.
